Corrugated wall at the top of the range

Where the 22,000L uses panelled-wall construction for the same size class, the 23,000L is a corrugated alternative. Some rural blocks and shed builds prefer the continuous corrugated profile visually or structurally. Same capacity bracket, different look, pick what suits the site.

Made for large-draw properties

23,000 litres covers a full-sized rural household comfortably, with headroom for a second dwelling, a workshop, stock, or garden irrigation pulling off the same catchment. On properties where a single big tank beats two smaller ones for plumbing simplicity, this is where the range lands.

Clean water, potable compliant

UV-stabilised food-grade LLDPE polyethylene, AS/NZS 4766 compliant. No internal lining to fail, no metallic taste, no rust. One-piece moulding at this scale takes real manufacturing capacity. Orion’s Tasmanian plant has it.

Built for Tasmanian conditions

UV stabilisation handles Tasmanian east coast sun and highland frost. The polymer flex absorbs ground movement on bush and sloped sites where concrete might crack. Weather doesn’t age this tank the way it ages galvanised steel.

Tasmanian-made. Delivered.

Moulded in Tasmania at 3,600mm diameter. Free delivery to 90% of the state. 15-year prorated warranty on every tank. 23 Colorbond-matched colours to match the roof or disappear into the bush.

Our warranty policy ensures peace of mind, covering defects and issues under standard terms.

Payment Information

We accept VISA, Mastercard, Google and Apple Pay.

How long will it take to arrive?

Most tanks reach your block within two weeks of order. Every tank is made in Tasmania and delivered direct, so there’s no mainland freight wait. If you’ve got a critical date (plumber booked, build sign-off, certifier inspection), let us know at order time and we’ll flag any timing risk

Do you install the tank or sort the plumbing?

No. We deliver to your block and unload. Connecting it to your downpipe, pump, and house plumbing is a job for your plumber. On a new build the plumber usually has the inlet, outlet, and overflow rough-in ready before the tank arrives.

Do I need council approval to install a water tank?

For most rural and residential properties in Tasmania, a standalone rainwater tank doesn’t need council approval. Larger tanks, elevated tanks on stands, and tanks in heritage zones can have local rules, so a quick check with your council before you order is worth the five minutes. Fire fighting tanks tied to a building permit are usually approved as part of the build itself.

Can I pick the colour?

Yes. Most ranges come in 22+ Colorbond colours so you can match a roof, fascia, fence, or pick something that disappears into the bush. Use the colour picker on the product page. The live colour shows on the 3D tank view so you can see exactly how it’ll look before you check out.

What if I order the wrong size or change my mind?

Get in touch as soon as you can. If the tank hasn’t begun manufacturing, we may be able to change the tank colour or size. Unfortunately, once manufacturing starts (as all tanks are custom-made), we can’t accept returns.
