Near-commercial capacity in traditional galv. 27,500 litres, 3400mm across, 3080mm tall. Farm-scale storage that goes vertical rather than wider, keeping the slab footprint the same as the 14,000L and 20,000L. Hot-dip galvanised outer, food-grade liner inside, AS/NZS 4020 potable. At over three metres tall this is silo-scale, and in galv it looks like one too, which on a working farm is the right read. No colour matching, no paint maintenance at height.

Silo-scale galv
At 3080mm tall this is the height where a tank starts looking like farm infrastructure. In galv that’s the correct read. A silver corrugated cylinder at silo height pairs naturally with hay sheds, machinery sheds, and the other tall working buildings on a farm. The finish signals ‘this is a working tank’ in a way painted finishes don’t.
No paint to fail at height
Painted tanks this tall are hard to maintain. If the finish ever needs attention, you’re booking a lift or a boom. Galv doesn’t have that problem. The zinc layer is the finish, it cares for itself, and the only thing that changes with time is the depth of the patina.
Food-grade lined for potable demand
The internal polymer lining isolates the water from the zinc. AS/NZS 4020 certified for drinking water. At this capacity the tank serves multiple demand points simultaneously: household supply, stock watering, irrigation, fire reserve.
Where this shape fits
3400mm across, 3080mm tall. Built for farms, market gardens, and properties with combined demand (household plus irrigation plus stock plus fire). On the same 3400mm base the 20,000L drops to 2310mm tall and the 30,000L climbs to 3400mm.

How long will it take to arrive?
Most tanks reach your block within two weeks of order. Every tank is made in Tasmania and delivered direct, so there’s no mainland freight wait. If you’ve got a critical date (plumber booked, build sign-off, certifier inspection), let us know at order time and we’ll flag any timing risk
Do you install the tank or sort the plumbing?
No. We deliver to your block and unload. Connecting it to your downpipe, pump, and house plumbing is a job for your plumber. On a new build the plumber usually has the inlet, outlet, and overflow rough-in ready before the tank arrives.
Do I need council approval to install a water tank?
For most rural and residential properties in Tasmania, a standalone rainwater tank doesn’t need council approval. Larger tanks, elevated tanks on stands, and tanks in heritage zones can have local rules, so a quick check with your council before you order is worth the five minutes. Fire fighting tanks tied to a building permit are usually approved as part of the build itself.
Can I pick the colour?
Yes. Most ranges come in 22+ Colorbond colours so you can match a roof, fascia, fence, or pick something that disappears into the bush. Use the colour picker on the product page. The live colour shows on the 3D tank view so you can see exactly how it’ll look before you check out.
What if I order the wrong size or change my mind?
Get in touch as soon as you can. If the tank hasn’t begun manufacturing, we may be able to change the tank colour or size. Unfortunately, once manufacturing starts (as all tanks are custom-made), we can’t accept returns.
