At 30,000L and 3400mm tall this is full commercial-scale rural storage. In galv it reads as correct infrastructure. Silver corrugated steel at this size pairs with everything a working property has: machinery sheds, dairy buildings, packing sheds, silos. There’s no colour decision that scales with the tank, because there’s no colour.
Finish built for decades
Hot-dip galvanising bonds zinc to steel at the metallurgical level. The finish is part of the tank. At 30,000L you’re buying a long asset, and galv is the finish that suits that timeframe. No re-coat schedules, no touch-up kits, no maintenance budget for the tank exterior.
Food-grade lined for multi-use
Internal polymer lining isolates the water from the zinc. AS/NZS 4020 certified. A single 30,000L galv tank can serve a whole-property supply brief: primary household, multiple outbuildings, irrigation, stock, fire reserve, all without water-quality compromises.
Where this shape fits
3400mm x 3400mm. The top-of-range galv. If 30,000L is more than the site needs, the 27,500L on the same 3400mm pad drops to 3080mm tall and the 20,000L drops further to 2310mm tall.

How long will it take to arrive?
Most tanks reach your block within two weeks of order. Every tank is made in Tasmania and delivered direct, so there’s no mainland freight wait. If you’ve got a critical date (plumber booked, build sign-off, certifier inspection), let us know at order time and we’ll flag any timing risk
Do you install the tank or sort the plumbing?
No. We deliver to your block and unload. Connecting it to your downpipe, pump, and house plumbing is a job for your plumber. On a new build the plumber usually has the inlet, outlet, and overflow rough-in ready before the tank arrives.
Do I need council approval to install a water tank?
For most rural and residential properties in Tasmania, a standalone rainwater tank doesn’t need council approval. Larger tanks, elevated tanks on stands, and tanks in heritage zones can have local rules, so a quick check with your council before you order is worth the five minutes. Fire fighting tanks tied to a building permit are usually approved as part of the build itself.
Can I pick the colour?
Yes. Most ranges come in 22+ Colorbond colours so you can match a roof, fascia, fence, or pick something that disappears into the bush. Use the colour picker on the product page. The live colour shows on the 3D tank view so you can see exactly how it’ll look before you check out.
What if I order the wrong size or change my mind?
Get in touch as soon as you can. If the tank hasn’t begun manufacturing, we may be able to change the tank colour or size. Unfortunately, once manufacturing starts (as all tanks are custom-made), we can’t accept returns.
