Real capacity, still slimline

5,000 litres is primary-tank territory on a small rural block or a serious secondary tank on a bigger one. In round form it needs a 1.7m diameter footprint. In slimline form it runs 3,290mm long on a 1,020mm-wide base, so the same capacity fits along a fence line or garage wall without sprawling across the yard.

Who it’s for

Narrow rural blocks where the round 4,600L won’t fit the site geometry. Suburban properties upgrading from smaller slimlines for whole-house non-potable supply. Secondary tank installs beside an existing round tank to add capacity for dry summers. Long narrow courtyards that demand length-wise tank placement.

Built to hold up

At this volume in a slimline shape, wall strength matters. One-piece moulded LLDPE polyethylene with reinforced wall geometry handles the hydrostatic load of a full 5,000L fill without flex or stress-cracking. UV-stabilised for Tasmanian sun and east-coast salt air. AS/NZS 4766 compliant for drinking water.

Warranty Policy

Our warranty policy ensures peace of mind, covering defects and issues under standard terms.

Payment Information

We accept VISA, Mastercard, Google and Apple Pay.

How long will it take to arrive?

Most tanks reach your block within two weeks of order. Every tank is made in Tasmania and delivered direct, so there’s no mainland freight wait. If you’ve got a critical date (plumber booked, build sign-off, certifier inspection), let us know at order time and we’ll flag any timing risk

Do you install the tank or sort the plumbing?

No. We deliver to your block and unload. Connecting it to your downpipe, pump, and house plumbing is a job for your plumber. On a new build the plumber usually has the inlet, outlet, and overflow rough-in ready before the tank arrives.

Do I need council approval to install a water tank?

For most rural and residential properties in Tasmania, a standalone rainwater tank doesn’t need council approval. Larger tanks, elevated tanks on stands, and tanks in heritage zones can have local rules, so a quick check with your council before you order is worth the five minutes. Fire fighting tanks tied to a building permit are usually approved as part of the build itself.

Can I pick the colour?

Yes. Most ranges come in 22+ Colorbond colours so you can match a roof, fascia, fence, or pick something that disappears into the bush. Use the colour picker on the product page. The live colour shows on the 3D tank view so you can see exactly how it’ll look before you check out.

What if I order the wrong size or change my mind?

Get in touch as soon as you can. If the tank hasn’t begun manufacturing, we may be able to change the tank colour or size. Unfortunately, once manufacturing starts (as all tanks are custom-made), we can’t accept returns.
