The 1680mm footprint pushed to full height in galv. 2310mm tall, 5,300 litres on the same pad as the 3,400L. If you’ve got vertical clearance, the height buys capacity without widening the concrete. Hot-dip galvanised finish outside, food-grade liner inside, AS/NZS 4020 potable compliant. A traditional silver farm tank in the mid-range sweet spot. Silver is the finish it ships with and silver is the finish it dies with.

Traditional galv, pushed tall
At 2310mm tall this is a proper vertical farm tank. In galv, height works in your favour aesthetically. A tall silver corrugated cylinder reads as a standard rural fixture rather than something that needs integrating into a colour palette. Against paddocks, against weatherboard, against a shed corner, it already matches.
No paint means no paint failure
Painted tanks can develop edge chips, UV fade, and surface chalking over decades. Galv doesn’t. Hot-dip zinc bonds with the steel through reaction and forms the finish, rather than coating on top of it. The only thing that changes over time is the patina depth.
Potable-grade inside
A food-grade polymer liner keeps the water off the metal entirely. AS/NZS 4020 compliant for drinking water. The rustic galv appearance hides a modern tank specification, so if you’ve been running rainwater through your kitchen taps, this range is drop-in compliant.
Where this shape fits
1680mm across, 2310mm tall. On the same 1680mm footprint the 3,400L (1550mm tall) drops the height if vertical clearance is tight. On a wider 2600mm pad the 12,500L pushes capacity much higher at the same 2310mm height.

How long will it take to arrive?
Most tanks reach your block within two weeks of order. Every tank is made in Tasmania and delivered direct, so there’s no mainland freight wait. If you’ve got a critical date (plumber booked, build sign-off, certifier inspection), let us know at order time and we’ll flag any timing risk
Do you install the tank or sort the plumbing?
No. We deliver to your block and unload. Connecting it to your downpipe, pump, and house plumbing is a job for your plumber. On a new build the plumber usually has the inlet, outlet, and overflow rough-in ready before the tank arrives.
Do I need council approval to install a water tank?
For most rural and residential properties in Tasmania, a standalone rainwater tank doesn’t need council approval. Larger tanks, elevated tanks on stands, and tanks in heritage zones can have local rules, so a quick check with your council before you order is worth the five minutes. Fire fighting tanks tied to a building permit are usually approved as part of the build itself.
Can I pick the colour?
Yes. Most ranges come in 22+ Colorbond colours so you can match a roof, fascia, fence, or pick something that disappears into the bush. Use the colour picker on the product page. The live colour shows on the 3D tank view so you can see exactly how it’ll look before you check out.
What if I order the wrong size or change my mind?
Get in touch as soon as you can. If the tank hasn’t begun manufacturing, we may be able to change the tank colour or size. Unfortunately, once manufacturing starts (as all tanks are custom-made), we can’t accept returns.
