The 550L Round Poly Tank is the squat one. Just 855mm tall on a 1,050mm footprint, so it fits where a taller tank won’t. Under eaves, beside a carport, tucked behind a deck. Holds enough for garden watering, toilet and laundry supply, or a pool top-up. One-piece LLDPE poly, AS/NZS 4766 compliant, safe for drinking water. Tasmanian-made with a 15-year prorated warranty and free delivery to 90% of the state.

At 855mm tall, the 550L slides in where height is capped. Under a fixed eave, along a fence line, behind a deck skirt, or beside a neighbouring wall. The 1,050mm footprint gives it stable capacity without the vertical lift. If you’ve been told a round tank won’t fit, measure the clearance first. This one probably does.
Moulded in one piece from UV-stabilised LLDPE polyethylene, AS/NZS 4766 compliant for drinking water. No internal lining, no welds, no seams that can fail. Safe for the kitchen tap, the kids’ water bottles, and the garden hose.
Ships with two 25mm BSP female outlets, a 200mm strainer basket with stainless steel insect mesh, a 90mm overflow fitted with a Rapid Seal grommet and removable insect screen, and a brass bibcock. Everything you need to plumb it in on delivery day.
22+ Colorbond-matched colours so the tank disappears into the fence, the paling, or the roofline. Spin it in 3D before you buy to see how the squat profile sits in your space.

Most tanks reach your block within two weeks of order. Every tank is made in Tasmania and delivered direct, so there’s no mainland freight wait. If you’ve got a critical date (plumber booked, build sign-off, certifier inspection), let us know at order time and we’ll flag any timing risk
No. We deliver to your block and unload. Connecting it to your downpipe, pump, and house plumbing is a job for your plumber. On a new build the plumber usually has the inlet, outlet, and overflow rough-in ready before the tank arrives.
For most rural and residential properties in Tasmania, a standalone rainwater tank doesn’t need council approval. Larger tanks, elevated tanks on stands, and tanks in heritage zones can have local rules, so a quick check with your council before you order is worth the five minutes. Fire fighting tanks tied to a building permit are usually approved as part of the build itself.
Yes. Most ranges come in 22+ Colorbond colours so you can match a roof, fascia, fence, or pick something that disappears into the bush. Use the colour picker on the product page. The live colour shows on the 3D tank view so you can see exactly how it’ll look before you check out.
Get in touch as soon as you can. If the tank hasn’t begun manufacturing, we may be able to change the tank colour or size. Unfortunately, once manufacturing starts (as all tanks are custom-made), we can’t accept returns.
