The 2,400L Round Poly Tank takes a 1,350mm footprint and goes tall, 1,900mm up, for an extra 300 litres over the shorter 1,100L on the same pad. Good for rural blocks where ground is flat and narrow, or next to a shed wall that’ll take the height. One-piece LLDPE poly, AS/NZS 4766 compliant for drinking water. Tasmanian-made with a 15-year prorated warranty and free delivery to 90% of the state.

Height over footprint
Same 1,350mm footprint as the 1,100L, but 1,900mm tall for more than double the capacity. If you’ve got the vertical clearance, the 2,400L gives you the better price-per-litre without spreading the footprint any wider. Useful on narrow rural blocks, beside tall sheds, or along fence lines where ground is at a premium.
Where the shape works
Primary tank on a one- or two-person rural cabin. Secondary catchment for a garden supply on an established block. Replacement for an old galvanised tank where you want more capacity on the existing pad without re-doing the base footprint.

One-piece LLDPE polyethylene, UV-stabilised, AS/NZS 4766 compliant for potable water. The food-grade mould means what comes off the roof is what you drink. No rust, no peeling liner, no metallic taste.

Two 25mm BSP female outlets, a 400mm strainer basket with stainless steel insect mesh, a 90mm overflow with Rapid Seal grommet and removable screen, and a brass bibcock. Plumb it in on delivery day.

How long will it take to arrive?
Most tanks reach your block within two weeks of order. Every tank is made in Tasmania and delivered direct, so there’s no mainland freight wait. If you’ve got a critical date (plumber booked, build sign-off, certifier inspection), let us know at order time and we’ll flag any timing risk
Do you install the tank or sort the plumbing?
No. We deliver to your block and unload. Connecting it to your downpipe, pump, and house plumbing is a job for your plumber. On a new build the plumber usually has the inlet, outlet, and overflow rough-in ready before the tank arrives.
Do I need council approval to install a water tank?
For most rural and residential properties in Tasmania, a standalone rainwater tank doesn’t need council approval. Larger tanks, elevated tanks on stands, and tanks in heritage zones can have local rules, so a quick check with your council before you order is worth the five minutes. Fire fighting tanks tied to a building permit are usually approved as part of the build itself.
Can I pick the colour?
Yes. Most ranges come in 22+ Colorbond colours so you can match a roof, fascia, fence, or pick something that disappears into the bush. Use the colour picker on the product page. The live colour shows on the 3D tank view so you can see exactly how it’ll look before you check out.
What if I order the wrong size or change my mind?
Get in touch as soon as you can. If the tank hasn’t begun manufacturing, we may be able to change the tank colour or size. Unfortunately, once manufacturing starts (as all tanks are custom-made), we can’t accept returns.
