Aquaplate Water Tanks

About

Aquaplate is steel done right for drinking water. A Zincalume-coated steel shell with a food-grade polymer film bonded to the inside, so the strength of steel sits on the outside and your water never touches metal.

That matters in Tasmania. On a rural block with no town water, your tank is your tap. Aquaplate tanks meet AS/NZS 4020 for products in contact with drinking water, so what comes off the roof stays clean from inlet to outlet. The internal lining also stops the rust pitting that shortens the life of bare steel tanks.

Outside, you get the look of a proper steel tank. Corrugated profile, low-glare finish, available in 22+ Colorbond colours to match a roof, fascia, or shed. Inside, a smooth white liner that’s gentle on water quality and easy to inspect.

Sizes run from compact 1,700 L units that tuck against a house, up to 14,000 L tanks for larger catchment off a full roof. Common Tasmanian use cases: primary potable supply on off-grid builds, replacement tanks where the original galvanised has rusted through, and second tanks added when the household grows or the dry summers stretch out.

Tasmanian-made. Free delivery to 90% of the state. Configure your size and colour, see it in 3D, and we’ll have it on your block. Most of the time inside two weeks. 15-year prorated warranty on every tank.
