The 600L Slimline Poly Tank is the smallest slimline in the range. Just 640mm wide on an 1,180mm long footprint, it sits flat against a wall or fence where a round tank has no hope. Enough capacity to feed a garden or supplement a toilet and laundry off roof runoff. One-piece LLDPE poly, AS/NZS 4766 compliant. Tasmanian-made with a 15-year prorated warranty and free delivery to 90% of the state.

Narrow enough to fit
640mm wide. That’s narrower than most fridges. Slides into a side passage, behind a fence, or along a wall where the ground-to-eave distance makes a round tank impossible. If you’ve been told “no room for a tank on this block”, the 600L is probably the answer.
What it’s for
Inner-suburban and townhouse properties wanting rainwater for the garden, a toilet, or a laundry connection. A top-up tank on a rural block where the main supply is elsewhere but you want catchment off a shed or secondary roof. Rental-friendly, low-impact, and modest in price.

Moulded in one piece from UV-stabilised LLDPE polyethylene, AS/NZS 4766 compliant for drinking water. No internal lining, no welds, no metallic taste. Food-grade right out of the mould.

How long will it take to arrive?
Most tanks reach your block within two weeks of order. Every tank is made in Tasmania and delivered direct, so there’s no mainland freight wait. If you’ve got a critical date (plumber booked, build sign-off, certifier inspection), let us know at order time and we’ll flag any timing risk
Do you install the tank or sort the plumbing?
No. We deliver to your block and unload. Connecting it to your downpipe, pump, and house plumbing is a job for your plumber. On a new build the plumber usually has the inlet, outlet, and overflow rough-in ready before the tank arrives.
Do I need council approval to install a water tank?
For most rural and residential properties in Tasmania, a standalone rainwater tank doesn’t need council approval. Larger tanks, elevated tanks on stands, and tanks in heritage zones can have local rules, so a quick check with your council before you order is worth the five minutes. Fire fighting tanks tied to a building permit are usually approved as part of the build itself.
Can I pick the colour?
Yes. Most ranges come in 22+ Colorbond colours so you can match a roof, fascia, fence, or pick something that disappears into the bush. Use the colour picker on the product page. The live colour shows on the 3D tank view so you can see exactly how it’ll look before you check out.
What if I order the wrong size or change my mind?
Get in touch as soon as you can. If the tank hasn’t begun manufacturing, we may be able to change the tank colour or size. Unfortunately, once manufacturing starts (as all tanks are custom-made), we can’t accept returns.
