The biggest low-slung Aquaplate

Seven thousand litres, 770mm tall. The 6,950L is the biggest capacity you can get in the Aquaplate range while keeping the tank below a standard single-storey eave. The base takes a 3,500mm square pad, and the tank sits on it like a corrugated steel drum. If the site is wide but can’t accept a tall silhouette, this is the answer.

Why Aquaplate, not plain steel

Any rural-sized steel tank lives or dies on how the water contact is managed. Plain galvanised tanks accept water directly onto the zinc-coated steel, and over 15-20 years you get rust pitting from the inside. Aquaplate solves that at the factory: the inside of the Zincalume shell is bonded with a food-grade polymer film, AS/NZS 4020 certified. Water contacts the liner, not the metal. No taste, no pitting, no accelerated failure.

Where the shape earns its money

Rural properties with height restrictions (heritage, covenant, neighbour disputes, council conditions). Farm outbuildings where the tank has to stay below the gutter line. Sloping sites where a tall tank would top the ridge visually. Some of the best-looking rural installs are wide-base tanks matched to the building’s proportions.

500mm strainer basket inlet with stainless steel insect mesh, 90mm Rapid Seal overflow with removable screen, brass bibcock. Outlets placed on request.
