Same 2600mm pad as the 10,000L, 25% more water. The 12,500L stands 2310mm tall and nets you an extra 2,500 litres without widening the slab. Hot-dip galvanised outer, food-grade liner inside, AS/NZS 4020 potable. Good for rural households running a dry-summer buffer on top of normal demand, or farms stepping up from 10k without redoing the base. Silver finish means no colour re-match if there’s a 10k galv already on the property.

Sized up without redoing the pad
The 12,500L sits on the same 2600mm base as the 10,000L, just 290mm taller. For rural builds wanting more buffer for drier months, that’s a capacity bump with no change to the concrete slab or the certifier spec. Galv on galv matches automatically if there’s already a 10k tank on the block.
The finish that doesn’t need decisions
Galv is the tank for property owners who have run out of patience for colour-matching. It’s silver grey when it arrives, it’s softer silver grey in two decades, and nobody ever needs to repaint it. For working rural properties where the tank is infrastructure, not decoration, that’s the point.
Potable-compliant interior
Polymer lining inside. Water isolated from the zinc. AS/NZS 4020 certified for drinking water. Kitchen, shower, laundry, garden, stock, all fine off the one tank.
Where this shape fits
2600mm across, 2310mm tall. Same footprint as the 10,000L, same footprint as the 8,200L. Three capacity options on the same concrete. If you need bigger again, the 14,000L moves to a 3400mm diameter base at 1550mm tall.

How long will it take to arrive?
Most tanks reach your block within two weeks of order. Every tank is made in Tasmania and delivered direct, so there’s no mainland freight wait. If you’ve got a critical date (plumber booked, build sign-off, certifier inspection), let us know at order time and we’ll flag any timing risk
Do you install the tank or sort the plumbing?
No. We deliver to your block and unload. Connecting it to your downpipe, pump, and house plumbing is a job for your plumber. On a new build the plumber usually has the inlet, outlet, and overflow rough-in ready before the tank arrives.
Do I need council approval to install a water tank?
For most rural and residential properties in Tasmania, a standalone rainwater tank doesn’t need council approval. Larger tanks, elevated tanks on stands, and tanks in heritage zones can have local rules, so a quick check with your council before you order is worth the five minutes. Fire fighting tanks tied to a building permit are usually approved as part of the build itself.
Can I pick the colour?
Yes. Most ranges come in 22+ Colorbond colours so you can match a roof, fascia, fence, or pick something that disappears into the bush. Use the colour picker on the product page. The live colour shows on the 3D tank view so you can see exactly how it’ll look before you check out.
What if I order the wrong size or change my mind?
Get in touch as soon as you can. If the tank hasn’t begun manufacturing, we may be able to change the tank colour or size. Unfortunately, once manufacturing starts (as all tanks are custom-made), we can’t accept returns.
