14,000 litres spread wide, not tall. 3400mm across, 1550mm high. Galv for farm-scale catchment, long paddock boundaries, and TFS-compliant fire reserves where metal construction is specified. Hot-dip galvanised steel outside, food-grade liner inside, AS/NZS 4020 potable. At farm scale the galv finish does what paint can’t: weather in to the property without a touch-up cycle. Silver corrugated steel against a working shed reads as the standard rural setup, not an addition to it.

Farm-scale galv, TFS-friendly
The Tasmania Fire Service specifies metal-construction tanks for dedicated fire reserves. Galv meets that requirement. A 14,000L galv tank plumbed into a static water supply ticks the fire-tank box and the household primary box in one installation. On working farms where fire planning is part of the brief, this is where the brief usually lands.
Zinc over steel, not zinc over paint
Hot-dip galvanising forms a metallurgical bond. The zinc becomes part of the surface layer of the steel through chemical reaction. That’s different from electroplating or spray coating. The finish doesn’t peel, doesn’t chip off at edges, and scratches don’t become rust starts. A farm tank takes knocks. Galv is built for that.
Food-grade lined inside
Internal polymer lining keeps the water off the metal. AS/NZS 4020 potable certified. Same internal water quality as every other tank we sell. You can run this as primary household supply as well as fire reserve.
Where this shape fits
3400mm across, 1550mm tall. Good for farm primary tanks, shed-roof catchments, and fire supply. On the same 3400mm pad, the 20,000L (2310mm tall) and 27,500L (3080mm tall) step up for properties needing multi-tank-or-one-big-tank decisions.

How long will it take to arrive?
Most tanks reach your block within two weeks of order. Every tank is made in Tasmania and delivered direct, so there’s no mainland freight wait. If you’ve got a critical date (plumber booked, build sign-off, certifier inspection), let us know at order time and we’ll flag any timing risk
Do you install the tank or sort the plumbing?
No. We deliver to your block and unload. Connecting it to your downpipe, pump, and house plumbing is a job for your plumber. On a new build the plumber usually has the inlet, outlet, and overflow rough-in ready before the tank arrives.
Do I need council approval to install a water tank?
For most rural and residential properties in Tasmania, a standalone rainwater tank doesn’t need council approval. Larger tanks, elevated tanks on stands, and tanks in heritage zones can have local rules, so a quick check with your council before you order is worth the five minutes. Fire fighting tanks tied to a building permit are usually approved as part of the build itself.
Can I pick the colour?
Yes. Most ranges come in 22+ Colorbond colours so you can match a roof, fascia, fence, or pick something that disappears into the bush. Use the colour picker on the product page. The live colour shows on the 3D tank view so you can see exactly how it’ll look before you check out.
What if I order the wrong size or change my mind?
Get in touch as soon as you can. If the tank hasn’t begun manufacturing, we may be able to change the tank colour or size. Unfortunately, once manufacturing starts (as all tanks are custom-made), we can’t accept returns.
