14,000L of Tas Approved fire supply on a wider 3400mm pad. 40% over the TFS 10,000L minimum, spread wide at 1550mm tall so vertical clearance isn’t a constraint. Galvanised steel shell meeting above-ground metal-construction requirements, 50mm valve, 65mm Storz coupling, correct draw height. Suits farm blocks with larger building areas, combined fire plus stock supply, or sites where the fire tank also has to carry through a long dry summer.

Fire spec, wider footprint
The 14,000L fire tank steps up from the 10k minimum in width rather than height. 3400mm across at 1550mm tall suits sites with horizontal room but limited vertical clearance, such as between a garage and a fence line, or beside a long shed wall. Same Tas Approved fittings as every fire tank in the range.
Hot-dip galv for the long timeline
Fire tanks sit for years without being touched. The finish has to look after itself. Galvanising is the metallurgical bond between zinc and steel, not a coating. Scratches heal over, minor impacts don’t start rust runs, and the finish gets more character without ever needing maintenance.
Where this shape fits
3400mm diameter, 1550mm tall. Good for combined-use supply on farm blocks where household water and fire supply are served from one catchment. On the same 3400mm footprint, the 20,000L (2310mm) steps up capacity for multi-dwelling sites and the 27,500L / 30,000L give farmstead-scale reserves.

How long will it take to arrive?
Most tanks reach your block within two weeks of order. Every tank is made in Tasmania and delivered direct, so there’s no mainland freight wait. If you’ve got a critical date (plumber booked, build sign-off, certifier inspection), let us know at order time and we’ll flag any timing risk
Do you install the tank or sort the plumbing?
No. We deliver to your block and unload. Connecting it to your downpipe, pump, and house plumbing is a job for your plumber. On a new build the plumber usually has the inlet, outlet, and overflow rough-in ready before the tank arrives.
Do I need council approval to install a water tank?
For most rural and residential properties in Tasmania, a standalone rainwater tank doesn’t need council approval. Larger tanks, elevated tanks on stands, and tanks in heritage zones can have local rules, so a quick check with your council before you order is worth the five minutes. Fire fighting tanks tied to a building permit are usually approved as part of the build itself.
Can I pick the colour?
Yes. Most ranges come in 22+ Colorbond colours so you can match a roof, fascia, fence, or pick something that disappears into the bush. Use the colour picker on the product page. The live colour shows on the 3D tank view so you can see exactly how it’ll look before you check out.
What if I order the wrong size or change my mind?
Get in touch as soon as you can. If the tank hasn’t begun manufacturing, we may be able to change the tank colour or size. Unfortunately, once manufacturing starts (as all tanks are custom-made), we can’t accept returns.
