Double the TFS minimum

For properties with more than one building, or a single building large enough to push the fire-tank requirement past 10,000L, 20,000L solves the sizing in one tank rather than two. Same Tas Approved fittings across the range, just twice the reserve. If the certifier has flagged a higher fire-tank capacity on a multi-dwelling site, this is where to start.

Galv is the default fire-tank finish

Fire tanks need to exist for decades without being thought about. Galv does that. No paint, no colour choice, no maintenance cycle, and the zinc bonds metallurgically to the steel so knocks and scratches don’t start rust. The finish weathers in rather than degrading.

Where this shape fits

3400mm across, 2310mm tall. Same 3400mm footprint as the 14,000L (1550mm) and 27,500L (3080mm) fire tanks. Scale your fire reserve up or down on the same slab depending on building area, combined-use needs, and site clearance.

Standard TFS fit-up

50mm outlet, 65mm Storz coupling, 90mm overflow with Rapid Seal grommet and insect screen, 400mm strainer basket with stainless mesh. W sign installed at tank per TFS signage.

Payment Information

We accept VISA, Mastercard, Google and Apple Pay.

How long will it take to arrive?

Most tanks reach your block within two weeks of order. Every tank is made in Tasmania and delivered direct, so there’s no mainland freight wait. If you’ve got a critical date (plumber booked, build sign-off, certifier inspection), let us know at order time and we’ll flag any timing risk

Do you install the tank or sort the plumbing?

No. We deliver to your block and unload. Connecting it to your downpipe, pump, and house plumbing is a job for your plumber. On a new build the plumber usually has the inlet, outlet, and overflow rough-in ready before the tank arrives.

Do I need council approval to install a water tank?

For most rural and residential properties in Tasmania, a standalone rainwater tank doesn’t need council approval. Larger tanks, elevated tanks on stands, and tanks in heritage zones can have local rules, so a quick check with your council before you order is worth the five minutes. Fire fighting tanks tied to a building permit are usually approved as part of the build itself.

Can I pick the colour?

Yes. Most ranges come in 22+ Colorbond colours so you can match a roof, fascia, fence, or pick something that disappears into the bush. Use the colour picker on the product page. The live colour shows on the 3D tank view so you can see exactly how it’ll look before you check out.

What if I order the wrong size or change my mind?

Get in touch as soon as you can. If the tank hasn’t begun manufacturing, we may be able to change the tank colour or size. Unfortunately, once manufacturing starts (as all tanks are custom-made), we can’t accept returns.
