Colour-matched fire compliance at scale

A 20,000L fire tank is a major visual element on the block. In a raw finish it reads as infrastructure. Colour-matched to the house or shed, it reads as part of the build. Same Tas Approved fire fittings as every tank in the range, just with a baked Colorbond exterior in your pick of 22+ colours.

Fire + potable + colour

Inside the Colorbond shell is the Aquaplate polymer lining. AS/NZS 4020 certified for drinking water. One tank handles fire compliance, household potable supply, and visual integration into the property. No trade-off between spec and appearance.

Where this shape fits

3400mm diameter, 2310mm tall. Good for multi-dwelling sites or rural builds requiring above-minimum fire reserve. The 10,000L Colorbond Fire Tank covers the TFS minimum on smaller single-dwelling builds. For farm-scale fire reserves where colour-matching isn’t the priority, the galv range scales up to 30,000L.

Standard TFS fit-up

50mm outlet, 65mm Storz coupling, 90mm overflow with Rapid Seal grommet and insect screen, 400mm strainer basket with stainless mesh. W signage installed at tank per TFS.

Payment Information

We accept VISA, Mastercard, Google and Apple Pay.

How long will it take to arrive?

Most tanks reach your block within two weeks of order. Every tank is made in Tasmania and delivered direct, so there’s no mainland freight wait. If you’ve got a critical date (plumber booked, build sign-off, certifier inspection), let us know at order time and we’ll flag any timing risk

Do you install the tank or sort the plumbing?

No. We deliver to your block and unload. Connecting it to your downpipe, pump, and house plumbing is a job for your plumber. On a new build the plumber usually has the inlet, outlet, and overflow rough-in ready before the tank arrives.

Do I need council approval to install a water tank?

For most rural and residential properties in Tasmania, a standalone rainwater tank doesn’t need council approval. Larger tanks, elevated tanks on stands, and tanks in heritage zones can have local rules, so a quick check with your council before you order is worth the five minutes. Fire fighting tanks tied to a building permit are usually approved as part of the build itself.

Can I pick the colour?

Yes. Most ranges come in 22+ Colorbond colours so you can match a roof, fascia, fence, or pick something that disappears into the bush. Use the colour picker on the product page. The live colour shows on the 3D tank view so you can see exactly how it’ll look before you check out.

What if I order the wrong size or change my mind?

Get in touch as soon as you can. If the tank hasn’t begun manufacturing, we may be able to change the tank colour or size. Unfortunately, once manufacturing starts (as all tanks are custom-made), we can’t accept returns.
