Maximum capacity on the smallest galv footprint. 1240mm across, 2310mm tall. Nearly three thousand litres packed into the same concrete pad as the 930L. Good for block corners, side returns, and run-of-house positions where width is the constraint. Hot-dip galvanised exterior, food-grade liner inside, AS/NZS 4020 potable. A tall silver farm tank that reads correctly on rural blocks where a painted tank would look overthought.

A 2310mm tall tank on a 1240mm footprint has the silhouette of the traditional farm tower tank. In galv it reads like it’s always been there. Against weatherboard, corrugated shed cladding, or bush backdrop the silver grey patina does its own work. No colour choice, no fading concerns, no paint edge where the tank meets the shed wall.
Galvanising forms a metallurgical bond with the steel. Scratches and knocks don’t start rust runs the way they can on painted tanks. If you use the block (and use it with vehicles, equipment, or stock) galv takes the knocks better than a smooth coated finish does.
The traditional galv exterior hides an internal polymer lining. Water never touches the zinc. AS/NZS 4020 certified for drinking water. No taste of metal, no chance of rust pitting leaching through the liner.
1240mm across, 2310mm tall. The tallest tank on the 1240mm footprint. Suits narrow block positions, side-of-house setups, or any site where the width is locked in but the height can go up. Same 1240mm pad as the 930L (770mm) and 1,850L (1550mm), for buyers choosing shape-at-capacity.

Most tanks reach your block within two weeks of order. Every tank is made in Tasmania and delivered direct, so there’s no mainland freight wait. If you’ve got a critical date (plumber booked, build sign-off, certifier inspection), let us know at order time and we’ll flag any timing risk
No. We deliver to your block and unload. Connecting it to your downpipe, pump, and house plumbing is a job for your plumber. On a new build the plumber usually has the inlet, outlet, and overflow rough-in ready before the tank arrives.
For most rural and residential properties in Tasmania, a standalone rainwater tank doesn’t need council approval. Larger tanks, elevated tanks on stands, and tanks in heritage zones can have local rules, so a quick check with your council before you order is worth the five minutes. Fire fighting tanks tied to a building permit are usually approved as part of the build itself.
Yes. Most ranges come in 22+ Colorbond colours so you can match a roof, fascia, fence, or pick something that disappears into the bush. Use the colour picker on the product page. The live colour shows on the 3D tank view so you can see exactly how it’ll look before you check out.
Get in touch as soon as you can. If the tank hasn’t begun manufacturing, we may be able to change the tank colour or size. Unfortunately, once manufacturing starts (as all tanks are custom-made), we can’t accept returns.
