Three times the TFS minimum
At 30,000L this tank covers fire supply across a full rural property plus everything else it touches. If the certifier sizing tables keep adding building areas and the number keeps going up, this is where the math lands before it tips into a second tank. Same Tas Approved fittings as the 10k minimum, scaled to three times the reserve.
Infrastructure-grade finish
At the top of the range, a fire tank is a long-term asset. Galvanising is the finish that suits that timeframe. The zinc is bonded to the steel through reaction, and the tank gets better at being a tank the longer it sits. No re-coating schedule, no colour to replicate in twenty years.
Where this shape fits
3400mm x 3400mm. The top of the galv fire range. On the same 3400mm footprint, the 27,500L drops to 3080mm and the 20,000L drops to 2310mm. Scale to the building area, the property use, and the vertical clearance available.

50mm outlet, 65mm Storz coupling, 90mm overflow with Rapid Seal grommet and insect screen, 400mm strainer basket with stainless mesh. W signage installed per TFS.

How long will it take to arrive?
Most tanks reach your block within two weeks of order. Every tank is made in Tasmania and delivered direct, so there’s no mainland freight wait. If you’ve got a critical date (plumber booked, build sign-off, certifier inspection), let us know at order time and we’ll flag any timing risk
Do you install the tank or sort the plumbing?
No. We deliver to your block and unload. Connecting it to your downpipe, pump, and house plumbing is a job for your plumber. On a new build the plumber usually has the inlet, outlet, and overflow rough-in ready before the tank arrives.
Do I need council approval to install a water tank?
For most rural and residential properties in Tasmania, a standalone rainwater tank doesn’t need council approval. Larger tanks, elevated tanks on stands, and tanks in heritage zones can have local rules, so a quick check with your council before you order is worth the five minutes. Fire fighting tanks tied to a building permit are usually approved as part of the build itself.
Can I pick the colour?
Yes. Most ranges come in 22+ Colorbond colours so you can match a roof, fascia, fence, or pick something that disappears into the bush. Use the colour picker on the product page. The live colour shows on the 3D tank view so you can see exactly how it’ll look before you check out.
What if I order the wrong size or change my mind?
Get in touch as soon as you can. If the tank hasn’t begun manufacturing, we may be able to change the tank colour or size. Unfortunately, once manufacturing starts (as all tanks are custom-made), we can’t accept returns.
