Good for farm sheds, long catchments, and blocks where a tall tank would cut a view. Hot-dip galvanised exterior, food-grade lined for AS/NZS 4020 potable compliance. No colour choice, no paint to age. The silver corrugated profile reads as traditional rural from metre one.

Silver corrugated, stretched wide
At 2600mm across and 770mm tall, this galv tank reads almost as landscaping. Long silver corrugated panels that run along a shed side or a fence line look like they belong to the property. There’s no paint edge to go wrong, no fade line over the years, and no maintenance cycle. Just silver, then silver-grey, then silver-grey with some patina.
Zinc takes impacts better than paint
If you’re parking this next to a working shed, a driveway, or a yard where vehicles move, galvanising is the forgiving finish. Zinc bonds to steel through reaction, so scratches and knocks heal over rather than peeling paint edges and exposing rust. The ugly bits stay ugly for a week, then disappear.
Potable-lined inside
Traditional appearance, modern water quality. The internal polymer liner isolates the water from the metal. AS/NZS 4020 potable certified. No metallic taste. Same drinking-water status as the lined Aquaplate and Colorbond ranges.
Where this shape fits
2600mm diameter, 770mm tall. Good for long runs next to sheds, under extended eaves, or along boundary fences. If the pad can spread wider for more capacity in the low profile class, the 6,950L runs 3400mm across at the same 770mm height.

How long will it take to arrive?
Most tanks reach your block within two weeks of order. Every tank is made in Tasmania and delivered direct, so there’s no mainland freight wait. If you’ve got a critical date (plumber booked, build sign-off, certifier inspection), let us know at order time and we’ll flag any timing risk
Do you install the tank or sort the plumbing?
No. We deliver to your block and unload. Connecting it to your downpipe, pump, and house plumbing is a job for your plumber. On a new build the plumber usually has the inlet, outlet, and overflow rough-in ready before the tank arrives.
Do I need council approval to install a water tank?
For most rural and residential properties in Tasmania, a standalone rainwater tank doesn’t need council approval. Larger tanks, elevated tanks on stands, and tanks in heritage zones can have local rules, so a quick check with your council before you order is worth the five minutes. Fire fighting tanks tied to a building permit are usually approved as part of the build itself.
Can I pick the colour?
Yes. Most ranges come in 22+ Colorbond colours so you can match a roof, fascia, fence, or pick something that disappears into the bush. Use the colour picker on the product page. The live colour shows on the 3D tank view so you can see exactly how it’ll look before you check out.
What if I order the wrong size or change my mind?
Get in touch as soon as you can. If the tank hasn’t begun manufacturing, we may be able to change the tank colour or size. Unfortunately, once manufacturing starts (as all tanks are custom-made), we can’t accept returns.
