Low profile pushed to the limit. The 4,000L runs 2600mm across but stands only 770mm tall, roughly knee height across a three-parking-space span. Good where a shed, garage, or carport can eat the width but any vertical tank would block a window, a view, or an eave. Food-grade Aquaplate lining inside, AS/NZS 4020 potable. Baked Colorbond shell outside in 22+ colours. Match the shed it parks beside and the tank becomes a longer shadow on the concrete, not a feature.

Widest low-profile shape, colour-matched to the slab
At 2600mm across and 770mm tall the 4,000L reads almost as landscaping. Pair the Colorbond finish with a shed cladding colour or a paving stain and it sits into the property rather than on top of it. This is the shape that wins when a tank would otherwise block a view or a window line.
Same potable compliance as Aquaplate
Food-grade polymer lining inside, AS/NZS 4020 certified for drinking water. Identical to the Aquaplate range internally. Choosing Colorbond here is a cosmetic call, not a water-quality trade-off.
Where this shape fits
2600mm diameter, 770mm tall. Good against garages, down long fence runs, or under extended eaves. For similar capacity at tighter width and more height, the 3,400L runs 1680 x 1550. For the biggest low-slung shape we build, the 6,950L keeps the 770mm height but stretches to 3400mm across.
Fit-up included
Strainer basket, overflow, and brass bibcock fitted before delivery. Custom outlet layouts and extras can be specified at order for a plumbing run.

How long will it take to arrive?
Most tanks reach your block within two weeks of order. Every tank is made in Tasmania and delivered direct, so there’s no mainland freight wait. If you’ve got a critical date (plumber booked, build sign-off, certifier inspection), let us know at order time and we’ll flag any timing risk
Do you install the tank or sort the plumbing?
No. We deliver to your block and unload. Connecting it to your downpipe, pump, and house plumbing is a job for your plumber. On a new build the plumber usually has the inlet, outlet, and overflow rough-in ready before the tank arrives.
Do I need council approval to install a water tank?
For most rural and residential properties in Tasmania, a standalone rainwater tank doesn’t need council approval. Larger tanks, elevated tanks on stands, and tanks in heritage zones can have local rules, so a quick check with your council before you order is worth the five minutes. Fire fighting tanks tied to a building permit are usually approved as part of the build itself.
Can I pick the colour?
Yes. Most ranges come in 22+ Colorbond colours so you can match a roof, fascia, fence, or pick something that disappears into the bush. Use the colour picker on the product page. The live colour shows on the 3D tank view so you can see exactly how it’ll look before you check out.
What if I order the wrong size or change my mind?
Get in touch as soon as you can. If the tank hasn’t begun manufacturing, we may be able to change the tank colour or size. Unfortunately, once manufacturing starts (as all tanks are custom-made), we can’t accept returns.
